Video Clients

 Productions, crew and friends.
Scott Gibbs is a dear friend and my mentor. He has been shooting since the 60's. In 1985, I hired him to shoot for me at Chevron. Since then he has taught me many invaluable things. He once told me to always consider myself a freelancer, he was right. We share the same respect for lighting and proper shooting. We share the same views on politics, and how to treat people with respect and kindness. If you ever hear me say "WOOF" to stop something, that is a Scott-ism. If you hear me correct someone with the proper pronunciation of "Chimera", that is a Scott-ism. In this day and age, learning from someone else one on one may not be the trend. However, there is something to be said about having a mentor or sharing your knowledge. Scott has done this throughtout our friendship. I am a better cinematographer and person for this. My plans will be to always share, help and nuture those who want it. As Scott has over the years. Thanks Scott!!

Scott passed away on May 5, 2007. After dealing for 18 long months with Leukemia. His physical being is gone, his energy, love of life, and knowledge will live on forever!
